Description
My love for caring for people and enhancing and improving their quality of life is purpose driven.
I am versatile and multi-skilled, looking after clients with various needs and disabilities, from Alzheimer’s & dementia, autism and Asperger’s syndrome, hearing, visually, movement (cerebral palsy) or mentally impaired, catheter care and medication or ear and eye drops administration (including diabetes care).
Currently I am mostly doing assisted living and some personal care and are employed by a care company, so I take my weekly Covid test and has only had negative results in this regard.
I have experience in working with children as I have been working in schools previously.
My former career experience lies in financial services (B.Comm degree) and professional sport (doing and coaching triathlon).
I can perform personal assistant and administrative tasks very well, but I am just as meticulous in cleaning, gardening, cooking and rendering any care needed or holding any level of conversation.
I take one of my clients to the gym to exercise weights or swim to improve strength and range of motion. As a qualified learn to swim teacher, spinning instructor and triathlon coach I believe in the benefits of a healthy body and mind.
With various and ever increasing my care qualifications, I look forward to hearing from you.
My promise is to take my utmost best and professional care of you and/or a loved one living with you.
Naturally this comes with reliability, trust, being timeous, good communication and kindness as a given.
Yours in care
Hendrik

I met Hendrik at first time during the Covid pandemic and I was struggling with myself as bad mobility throughout the Covid time. He came to check on me and I decided to hire him as my personal trainer assistant for gym and swimming. He is fantastic gentleman to help me to get my life back on the track with my mobility. If no help mean my mobility will get worse. He is learning sign language by me due to my deafness and he understands quickly due to my signing as communication with him.
